New ISS World Mixed Doubles Curling Tour Coordinator

Alina Biktimirova of Moscow, Russia joins the World Curling Tour Organization as its new ISS World Mixed Doubles Curling Tour Coordinator replacing Laurence Bidaud in that role. Biktimirova has been active curler since age of 13, has won the Russian Championships 3 times over the past few years and was part of the youth Russian curling program.

Although still actively competing, recently finishing with a silver medal in the Russian Mixed Doubles National Championships. Biktimirova's focus has turned to utilizing her education and organizational skills for the development of curling Events and working as a Sports Manager in one of the busiest curling clubs in Moscow.

A graduate of the Russian University of Physical Culture, Sports, Youth and Tourism, Biktimirova has an education in major event organisation and physical education. Very experienced for her 25 years, with participation in the organization of over 40 major National and International competitions in her resume, Biktimirova will be a great addition to the organization.

She has just recently launched an IT project on to the Russian Sports market that will allow the booking, of sports venues, playing fields in various sports, easier and quicker for individuals via a special mobile App.

"Alina's entrepreneurship, her energy and her fresh youth-driven ideas will be a great asset to our organization", comments the WCT CEO Armin Harder on Biktimirova's selection to the Mixed Doubles Tour Coordinator position.

Wayne Tuck of Strathroy, Canada has been added as Regional Coordinator - North America for the ISS World Mixed Doubles Tour to help develop events in Canada and the United States. Tuck is also a competitor on the ISS World Mixed Doubles Tour, participating in several events, winning a Canadian Mixed Doubles Title with partner Kimberley Tuck and also recently competing in the Canadian Olympic Mixed Doubles Trials.

Biktimirova and Tuck join Tomi Rantamaki of Finland, who developed and manages the official ISS World Mixed Doubles Curling Tour Rankings on the ISS World Mixed Doubles organizing team.
