Hunt scored a single in the eighth end to win 5-4.
In the semifinals, Hunt defeated JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB) 6-4 and Lyburn defeated Tanner Lott (Winnipeg Beach, MB) 4-1. Ryan and Lott earned $750CDN and 11.109 ranking points for their semifinal finishes. In the quarterfinals, Hunt defeated Hayden Forrester (Winnipeg, MB) 6-5, Lyburn defeated Tyler Drews (Winnipeg, MB) 5-1.
